We believe that every woman – African women included – has a right to a healthy pregnancy and motherhood and we believe that the natural fertility approach offers this in a way that enhances their well-being. Despite the ongoing focus on African women and development, the reality is that most African women still struggle.
At the moment:
- Many African women are struggling to have healthy babies; forget about the picture of African women having eight children, many African women are struggling to have even one or two children.
- Many African women lose their babies during pregnancy and shortly after childbirth. And in many cases, some of these women also die at childbirth.
- Many African women are struggling to plan their families and are at the mercy of hormonal contraceptives that harm their health.
- Many African women are struggling to build careers because we know that we have a lot to offer our society but we are struggling to do so while remaining wives and mothers.
We carry out research to better understand the challenges African women face. We also offer free and subsided programmes to support them in building their families and societies.
Support Our Mission
We want to help a million African women have healthy pregnancies and develop their societies by 2023. For each course you buy on our website, we will give an African woman free access to the same course. All the African women involved in our projects are carefully chosen hardworking women and you will be introduced to the woman you sponsor if you want.
